I was never taken to the dentist as a child, so it hasn’t become part of my routine as an adult, and therefore I haven’t been in well over a decade.. but to be honest, the biggest reasons are money, time, and transportation as I can’t drive or catch public transport due to my epilepsy.
My teeth aren’t horrible by any means, but they definitely need a few things done, and it’s constantly weighing on my mind that I need to go, but I know I will need to go in a few times, and I don’t have any family members to take me, so there’s nothing I can do.
I do know dentists are trying to make it less of a hassle to visit – which is greatly appreciated – so I’m thankfully not *scared* to go anymore, I’m just still trying to figure out how to get there!
